Sash Medical was established in 2007 by a Professional Medical Regional Sales Manager to fill a noticeable and consistent void in the Chicagoland territory of highly trained independent surgical sales representatives.  

Our goal is to focus on manufacturers who primarily produce products that are designed for use in the O.R.  Utilizing our existing contacts with key physicians and hospital staff, we have developed a proven track record of sales success for a number of specialty surgical product lines.

David Sash - Principal
15 years’ experience – Western and Southern Chicago

Dave started his career with extensive experience and sales training with Coke.  After a number of years (8) and many promotions, Dave was drawn into the medical sales field by his brother Jim.  He started in medical sales with a distributor based out of St. Louis and spent over 6 years learning the medical sales process by selling a multitude of products primarily into the O.R. but also dealt with a number of other departments in the hospital.  Dave prides himself on his customer relationships and has had great success bringing new technology into the hospital.  Dave has covered the south side of Chicago for his entire medical sales career as well as various other parts of Chicago metro area and has great knowledge of who is doing what within his primary hospitals and various others as well.

James Sash - Principal

Jim graduated from Western Illinois University in 1995 with majors in Agricultural Science and Business. He has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Device Industry.   His focus has been primarily in the field of laparoscopy which has taken him into many specialties with a focus in General and Gynecological surgeries.

Jim started his career with one of the most well know smaller companies in the industry, Taut Inc.   While at Taut, Jim moved his way up to Regional Manger.   1st starting as the SE Regional Manager where he achieved Regional Manager of the year twice.  He then had the opportunity to take over the Midwest Region where he was able to make it the #1 region year over year.  

After the sale of Taut to Teleflex Medical in 2006, Jim was the only Regional Manger to be brought on as a Regional Manager with Teleflex.  Following his passion for bringing new and innovative devices to the market, Jim then spent a year with a Urology Venture Capital company. 

Recognizing a void of independent sales representation for the surgery market in the Chicago region, Jim started a distributorship in 2008 with his brother Dave who was also in the industry.   Going on ten years now, Sash Medical continues to be a well-respected distributorship with multiple reps in Chicago, NW Indiana and lower Wisconsin.  Jim has had many roles within the organization and continues to support efforts primarily in the office.

Marc has over 20 years of OR device sales experience in Chicago and Indiana.  Marc’s experience includes selling, hand held surgical instruments, retractor systems, light sources, and a wide range of disposable products used in the OR.  Specialties focused on were; cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, gynecology, urology, ent, plastics, orthopedic and general surgery.  During the past 17 years Marc has been able to develop and build many strong relationships with surgeons, OR Directors, clinical coordinators and materials personnel.  

Heinz Titze years’ experience – 9 years in Medical Sales-Chicago & North Chicago

Heinz started his career and worked for a number of years in business to business sales with Motorola as well as a 7 year stint in the financial market with HSBC.  In 2008 he then moved into the healthcare sales environment working for a Midwest medical products distributor based out of Missouri.  Heinz has extensive experience selling a number of different products to multiple specialties primarily in the O.R.   While at the distributor he was responsible for growing Medtronic’s u-clip business 125% overall and had his region see a 113% overall growth.  Heinz has been with Sash Medical for one year covering primarily Chicago North out to Rockford.  Heinz is fluent in German and his hobbies include soccer, soccer and soccer.
